Windows Update is Continually Unavailable Monday, June 28, 2004 at 8:32 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by John Polk (2 messages posted) I have a question about Downloading Windows Updates: For the past couple of months whenever I try to run Windows Update on my computer (Windows 98) it puts up a screen telling me the service is temporarily unavailable.
