Hi, I work for tech support for a BIG company. and one cust call me for the same issue that you are having. I researched a little for this and i found this tool that maybe is going to work. (Works with my customer!!!) http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/tool.to.reset.shellopencommand.registry.keys.html . If you can't go directly to the link, you can open www.symantec.com Check to the left for the part that says something about "Download Virus Removal Tool" then go to the one that says "Tool to reset shellopencommand registry keys" All the info must be there.
