You could try these options to possibly determine where it's launching from. Select Start/Run, type MSINFO32 in the 'Open' box and press enter. When MSI opens, double click 'Software Environment' to expand it. Now click 'Running Tasks' and look at the entries in the right pane. Or try Process-Viewer.
