Can't rid "blank" as homepage Monday, September 6, 2004 at 11:23 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Eric (1 messages posted) Hi ya'll, I set, "apply" and "ok" MSN.COM as my home page in the tools>internet options> general> homepage section of IE. Upon restart, "about; blank" comes up as the home page every time. I even set the "Lock IE start page against user changes (current user)" in the Spybot S&D program and the MSN page that is locked in upon shut down comes up "about blank" after boot-up is complete. This is a recent problem, not experienced in the last 5 years. My home page has never changed like this til now. I'm running Windows 98 and IE 6.0.
