IO-Magic External CD-RW device driver?

I'm having one heck of a time here. I bought a lovely new external cd-rw device from IO-Magic. It connects via a USB cable, and has installation software and the whole nine yards. I installed everything and got it up and running, then my unit stopped working. So, I removed the unit, and uninstalled the software, until I could exchange the unit for a new one a few weeks later. Now I know the unit works, but I can't seem to get the software to work properly. My computer detects the USB_Storage device attached, but can't seem to find a device driver(I thought that's what the device driver cd was supposed to install). I've ask IO-Magic for help, but they keep telling me to do the same things I've done, which is install the device driver from the cd, then reboot. But like I said, that's not working. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem? By the way, the unit I have is that shiny new 52x24x52 external CD-RW, model # BCE 5224UI
