Hi Debra,
You should listen to JmC. And watch out for hidden
things like that. DON'T delete any files that look like
they should be there. Explorer.exe should be Windows
Shell program. What you should do instead of deleting
anything like this is goto your START BUTTON;
Hit Run and Type in:
C:\Windows\System\SFC.EXE
This is the Windows 98 System File Checker.
It has a database in the Windows folder which it looks
through to determine if something has replaced or
deleted you files.
When you open it, Open SETTINGS, and make sure
the bottom 2 boxes are checked.
Have it run and follow the pop-up boxes.
Careful not to replace anything that is updated.
NOTE: there was Never any release, to my knowledge,
of any Windows 98 Explorer.exe.
