try using msconfig.exe its found in windows system its part of windows it alows you to start or stop items in :config.sys,autoexec.bat,win.ini,sys.ini,and startup but it list everything starting not just a few like your startup folder on start menu a good program to try and 100% free to download and use is tweakall it alowse you to tweak- everything that msconfig will and even cache ,video,security,and much more please e-mail me for questions on outher grate programs i found to be free and verry useful
