I'd forgotten, it was only by clicking links on certain websites. However, memory
problems CAN cause random rebooting, "while only surfing" the net.
It sounds like it could be some malicious code, an ad, or something on the site.
Except that would seem more likely, if you were using IE to browse, rather than Netscape.

As for PTSnoop, that information I posted is accurate. It's not needed by the modem.
You should remove it from startup, it's a high security risk. Run a file search for
it and rename it to .old extension, if it keeps adding itself back into startup.
