Okay, I think I know what you are talking about.
To create more of theses, or to remove some(?)
I found that if you remove stuff like the Microsoft Data Link, probably something
nobody uses, and stuff like that, it can take some of the delay's out of it.
It is slow, because it has to look through all the registry's HKey_Local_Machine
(ROOT), for
"SHELLNEW" if you want to create or remove some
of the things in NEW, I know, you know what the registry is from your messages,
run a scan for that
ShellNew. You can see it is easy to create/remove,
that is, until you want it to enter your default data, that though, is another
lesson. Have fun.
(I have added one to the .htm, I create them often.)
