The memory on ur computer is low and microsoft work requires lot of memory. The system resources should always be more than 80 or 90%. U can right click on my computer--Properites---Performance. There u can check ur system resources. To free resources follow this procedure--Click start--run--msconfig 2. Choose selective startup--go to startup tab on he last and uncheck all items which are not needed to start at the beginning. Click on apply and ok, restart your computer and check ur resources again. Microsoft work would definitely work.
