Dex: I right-clicked and then clicked "install" on every .inf file I could find,
both in driverguide.com's download and the original SigmaTel downloads (from two
sources, making a total of three downloads). It still doesn't install. It also
doesn't show up in Add/Remove Programs. I clicked on every .exe file I could find
in the SigmaTel downloads, but no success. This is the first time in 10 years that
I've been downloading programs that doesn't install when I click the .exe file, and
that doesn't show up either in Add/Remove Programs or in Start-up Programs. Thanks
again for your reply. I really would like now to try uninstalling WIN98SE and reinstalling
it, but I may be inviting trouble if I attempt it. Any ideas?
