Finally, I found the solution: another program similar to TweakUI. Go here: http://www.freshdevices.com/freshui.html Work your way down to the Folders section and you'll find the option to turn those arrows off - without making any registry changes yourself. There's a simple signup procedure to get the file, but it [and their other files] are very useful and FREE.
