Use Windows Startup Menu for dual boot?

Is it possible to dual boot Linux from the Windows98 Startup Menu? That is, only if you hit Control during boot will the Startup Menu appear, allowing you to select Linux or Windows98. If you don't hit Control, no Startup Menu, no dual boot option presented, and it just boots into Windows98 normally. Or alternatively some other key brings up a Boot Menu, but otherwise (that is the magic key not pressed), it boots into Windows98 normally without appearance of a boot menu. This would be ideal for my dual user situation. The other user needn't be aware when it boots that it's a dual boot machine.
