actually it was 19.99 :P
its not THAT old, it was released in 2000, but it doesnt even get detected at all,
i plugged it into all pci slots, booted pc, no detection, ran hd/detect, nothing,
im gonna try and install it on an old 98 pc and if that werks then i guess it is
the card...but it should still DETECT the card....
there was also a wire (has small holes) on both ends...its not attached (should it
be / power or sumthen) but my mobo doesnt have a conenctor for it....maybe this is
the problem....
the noetowrk card in question is..
Retail Plus+
Fast Ethernet PCI Network Interface Card
www.retailplus.com
they really dont have n e information on this network card on there site...pretty
bad site (also i htink its outdated and new management)
i might jsut buy a new card for $20 and say to hell with this ( just found it laying
around thoguht id try it out)
thnx
