I have replaced my hard drive in my HP 8655C machine. I can not get it to accept any changes for the monitor driver or the display driver, so I am stuck with 16 color, standard driver selection. Have tried to download several drivers and tryed to install same. of course the recovery disks tell me I no longer have a HP machine, and will not accept system or application recovery disks. any suggestions?
