ok.. open opening winamp i got an interesting link.. heh http://www.geocities.com/MMSYSTEM002/
that site.. basicaly outlines how drives can get fukt due to win9x registry setup.
it offers a list of solutions...
interesting.. .on my "multimedia devices" part of the control panel.. it lists NO
devices... on
solution #3 of that site ^^^ it lists a way to reinstall windows general multimedia
device.. but that didnt work..
i completely reinstalled all my drivers but it fails to read.
i got the sound speaker icon thingie back in the bottom right.. but no sound.
essentialy the only way to fix it now it seems is to reformat windows...
i really doubt it is that my soundcard got jarred loose..because it still finds it.
the plug and play bios setup finds it again if i remove all of its drivers and reboot
up windows.
heh..
this is really shitty.
i hate spyware / trojans and other bs that copys itself and fukks ur windows registry.
its so whack. why do ppl write sloppy software to just fukc up other ppls computers?
im pissed... guess ill just have to reformat if i want sound again./
heh
