Windows wants Registration Key Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 6:09 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Matt Rozeski (1 messages posted) My friend's computer shut down last night when downloading a file and when it restarted it wants to take them through the start-up wizard. It asks to enter your name, then it asks for the registration key. He said that he can still see the picture that he has on his desktop so it seems that nothing has been deleted, but my question is what can I expect to have to do? Will I need anything other than the Win98 disk and serial number? I will not have access to email and want to have eveything that I will need before I get there, 30 minute drive.
