XP OPERATING SYSTEM

Hello Jessica, Not always a good idea. XP is more suited to a modern computer with a higher speed processor and more RAM. 512 Mb or more is really required to run XP successfully. If you click on the link above you'll find an XP compatability test at PC Pitstop. If you want to check your current specifications install Everest Home Edition. For the basics just right-click My Computer and open the Properties box where you'll find the Processor speed and the amount of installed RAM. XP works better on bigger drives usually, so drive size is important too. Carol is using XP too, so you are in good hands.
