I seem to have a problem related only to jpeg format images in that they all open
in non-maximized windows, skewed to the left of the screen. I have turned off auto
resize in IE 6 as well as the associated toolbar. I have also tried numerous resizing
techniques for opening browser windows maximized all to no effect. There was a previous
problem with images having some odd flashing before they opened so I removed the
jpeg (jpg) file type and returned it to opening with IE via the file type identifier
in Folder Options, File Types and now am wondering if there was some additional information
that was removed in my quest to stop the lethargic and flashing loading of jpeg images
that is now effecting new jpegs to open without my having to adjust each new image
for size? All previously opened and manually resized jpegs open as they were closed,
in the maximized state. This constantly having to manually adjust/maximize all new
jpegs is making me crazy so any help would be appreciated.
