then of course before you Format you backup all your files,and then transfer them 
to the machine after the Reinstall,most likely with the Malware lurkin' right in 
one of the backed up files.Make sure you scan ALL files with your AV and any Application 
the other posters have recommended before transferring those file back to the machine.
