re: installation problems Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at 11:28 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by John (2 messages posted) hi. thanks for the tip. i had checked out my memory sticks as i thought they might be the culprits but believe it or not, it all came down to a cooling issue. i had only one fan in my case because that's all it allows. i opened it up and set a desk fan next to it and now everything works normally. looks like i need a new case haha. thanks again.
