You know, I'm attempting to solve a problem, not be given a lesson in forum protocols. If I keyed in the wrong name, excuse the heck out of me. Funny, I had no problem at all at the Linksys site, downloaded new firmware for the router and installed it. And btw - the "192" I referenced was for gaining access to the router itself, the site is 192.168.1.1 and yes, it's password protected. I know that what I'm asking might be considered as "trivial" to a person of your elevated stature, but bear in mind that you too had to learn somewhere. The air must be pretty thin up on that lofty perch you put yourself on.
