XP OPERATING SYSTEM
Hello Jenny, what did you do with the '98 bootdisk file? Did you - copy - it to the
floppy?
Is so then you should format the floppy and, with the formatted floppy in the A:
drive, double-click the bootdisk image.exe file so that it - makes - a bootdisk out
of the floppy disk.
When the bootdisk is made slide the write protect tab across to prevent the bootdisk
from picking up a virus.
No re-boot the computer with the floppy in the A: drive and the Windows '98 CD in
the CD-ROM drive and choose "With CD-ROM Support" to test the CD-ROM.
You will probably want to use 'fdisk' and 'format' before doing the installation.
Do you know what to do with these two commands?
Before you start what is the Make and Model of your computer and does it have an
OEM recovery system?
