I don't understand " Change ... (nz file)": Where ? How? And then same needed for "Show All Files". Meanwhile at what I believe was one of your earlier referrals I downloaded EMSA DISK CHECK. In 20 minutes it scanned some 4.8 billion bytes on C drive. Found 1 error: c:\Windows\win386SMP. Can that be the culprit Disk Utility locking MSN Scan Disk? There is no Support at e.systems.ro so have no idea how to correct the error -- whether or not it is responsible for the scan lock.
