Bless You, Garry! I spent countless hours researching and trying solutions from
Microsoft, Dell and others. I wasted too much time with System File Checker and
diagnostic boots and such. When I saw all the people who had success with your solution
to the Windows Protection Error, I tried it.
Because I was able to get into Safe Mode by using the F8 key, I just booted into
"Safe Mode with Command Prompt" and then entered the commands you listed. Your method
worked perfectly! You are a genius! Thank you for taking the time to post your
solution.
