Win+M is a one-way progess.

Norm's is better.
::Windows-key+d toggles between open windows and the desktop

Win+D (show Desktop / don't show Desktop)
is not only easier to remember as a mnemonic, it is a *toggle*;
doing the keystroke combination 1 more time
gets you back to the window whence you started.
