Finally got frozen screen to change, but now it won't do anything else. I downloaded windows 98se boot disk from bootdisk.com, but when I put it in computer, I get this message: "Non-System disk or disk error. Replace and strike any key when ready". When I start the computer without the disk in it, this is what I get: "Microsoft(R) Windows 98" "(C)copyright Microsoft 1981-1999" C:\>. I also get this same message when I try any of the choices from Windows Startup Menu. It still won't recognize my cd-rom--no letter of the alphabet has been assigned to it. Is there someplace on the internet I can download the boot disk, besides bootdisk.com. Thanks for everyone's help.. P.S. I REALLY HATE THIS COMPUTER!!!
