Hi
It could be a virus in which case there is only one or two options you can take.
1. Would be a complete wipe of the HD and start again. 2. try a system restore using
C:/scanreg /restore then to a point before your troubles. This may not work but
worth a go. I have had this problem with clients computers and got into files by
using C:/edit command to check boot up or other problems.
