Windows 98 won't start up, Help anyone??

I think files may have been deleted!!! I have the start up discs ,I tried several
suggestions on there but had no Joy Im afraid I have no Knowlage of fixing PC's ,and
can't afford an expert, I would be so greatfull for any advice.
on start up all I get is " Invalid system disk replace the disk and press any key.
with the start up floppy Installed it gives me options in the troubleshooting section,
but they dont work or Im doing somthing wrong!!
any suggestions anyone ?
