I've updated and run AdAware, Spybot, and have ZoneAlarm installed. I've defragmented the drive, and kept my previous Norton up to date, and have recently run all of the possible fixes in my new Norton Systemworks 2005 and new Registry Mechanic, but the speed hasn't changed. I've searched this forum, for additional possibilities - but I was wondering what the odds are that my RAM is bad, and is there a way to test it? I tried CheckIt Diagnostics, and it said the memory was fine, but that program is new to me. (Your forum is great - I stumbled on it searching for another problem, and the solution was perfect.)
