The lcd stopped working so I pluged it into a reg. monitor. I do a complete restore on the system. Now it boots to the window screen, and runs scan disk, and then the monitor go's blank. If I go into safe mode the computer will boot all the way into it. You can do what ever you need to do in there, but as soon as you restart, it go's back to the blank screen, on the external monitor. I can't figure out why it would boot to the external monitor in safe mode but wont boot to the monitor when it is in reg. mode. Any help would be very grateful. It is runing win. 98se, with 128megs of memory, and I am useing the restore disk's that came with the system.
