I know this is off the thread but I wanted to let you know your suggestion to check
DMA was right on for the problems I posted. Message 1128132165. Dewey's post sounded
so much like mine, with exceptions of KB &Mouse, that I just had to check. Sure
enough CD and Hdd had DMA un-checked. Thanks . BW
