Are you using the Draw feature of Word? Works fine for me, drag and all. If you're
not using the Draw feature - though I can't imagine what other way you are using
- then try it through that. It's under View>Toolbars>Drawing. Clicking on Drawing
will give you the toolbox for lines, circles, flowchart diagrams, arrows, etc. Then
see if you can draw a straight line using the line feature. If not, it could very
well be your mouse. Gewg suggested the way to correct that. If you already have
cab files for your Windows in your computer, you won't need a Windows disk to reinstall
the mouse driver.
