Error 5006:0x8007000e for Installshield Monday, October 3, 2005 at 8:14 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Amy Charles (2 messages posted) I am trying to install a driver for a digital camera and before it can even install, Installshield Wizard pops up and says "Starting InstallShield Wizard" then another text box that pops up immediately after that says: "Please wait while InstallShield Wizard prepares the setup" and then the attached error pops up -5006: 0x8007000e. I was wondering if there is something I need to adjust with InstallSheild wizard or something. I went to the manufacurer's website to download an updated version of the driver but I got the same errors. I contacted their service dept and they seem to think it is a glitch within Windows 98. Anyone run into that before?
