Geoff, that's way too many programs in your startup. Let's do this, run Hijack This
and post the log here, that it creates. That's a lot easier, and quicker, than the
process of elimination. Don't uncheck or remove anything from startup, before posting
the log. Hijackt This will usually show if there's an infection of some kind, then
some some scans may be necessary.
Get rid of any older versions of HJT and download the current one: Hijack This 1.99.1
Unzip 'Hijack This' into it's own folder.
Example: C:\HJT. It creates backups, and they're automatically saved in the same
location. Disconnect from the net and close all open windows. Run 'HJT' and Click
"Do a system scan and save a logfile". Note: most of the entries in HiJack This will
be harmless or even essential. Don't fix anything yet.
Once the scan is finished, the log will automatically open in Notepad. Select all
and copy/paste the entire log here. Please check this box (below message window)
before posting the log: "Check this box to preserve your spacing, or leave it
unchecked to have your text wrapped automatically...."
Additionally, clear out all your temp folders, etc. using CCleaner Before running it, click Options and specify
any Cookies you don't want removed.
