Thanks for those tips! I just downloaded RamBooster from Download.com, and all of
a sudden my desktop updated itself, Explorer is working, and it's generally faster.
CPU is still slow, but it definetly helped. I'll still try some of your suggestions,
though, like the Maintenance Wizard. Goodness knows when the last time she did any
of that.
