Your HijackThis log is clean as a whistle, although there's a newer version out now. I still don't think an infection is the cause, but there are so many areas to cover, when it comes to Windows. There's also hardware to consider, etc. I don't know what else to suggest for your problem, Dewey. I think we covered a lot of things before. It could be a hardware driver issue. Check in Device Manager for any problem devices with an Exclamation point.
