Hi Carol, Dan, & J.R., Dan & J. R., I did try the setting for network and it didn't help, but will go back and activate it--who could argue about faster performance--especially on a computer as old as mine. Carol, I checked with Juno last December and they said it was an essential part for Juno operation. However, as I tried to go to sleep last night I was thinking about your suggestion that it must be a device driver. As I mulled that over, I thought; Juno is a device!? Juno is my e-mail and ISP. I happen to be a "saver" and even have a drawer for string that is too short to use...........not! :-))) Anyway, I seldom delete e-mail messages and it seems that Juno can not manage an infinite number of messages. I'll ask them to day, but no matter what they say I am going to delete a lot of e-mail messages and will let you know how things go--if it goes well I probably won't get back for a week as I want to be sure. Thanks for all your input!!!!!!!! Dewey
