98 Setup blank screen Sunday, January 1, 2006 at 6:07 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Brian (2 messages posted) I have just re-installed 98SE and get to the point of restart, then windows starts to instal drivers etc and then goes to a blank screen and then starts a soft reboot. I cannot get it to go in to safe mode. I have went through a comd promt and get to the msmouse.vxd and even if I load or do not load the machine goes into same blank screen soft re-boot. Really apreciate any ideas.
