New hardware is driving me crazy...

I recently had to purchase a new motherboard - I chose a Soyo KT880 Dragon 2 v2.0.
Once it was installed I attached my old hardware: (1) 80 Gb Western Digital HD, (1)
60Gb Maxtor HD, (1) Toshiba DVD-Rom, (1) HP CD-RW High Speed, an nVidia FX5200, and
other various PCI devices (if you need to know what they are just ask and I'll list
them). I also used my old processor, an 1Ghz Athlon Thunderbird. I reinstalled
Windows 98SE, and then installed all the drivers that came with the new board.

Here's where the trouble starts - the HP drive will NOT show up in Windows AT ALL.
Not on either IDE channel, not as master not as slave - not with cable select.

Problem Two: My nVidia card - although in an AGP slot (with AGP as the selected graphics
slot in the BIOS) shows up under the nVidia card information as being PCI Bus - normal?
Or should it say AGP?

Problem Three (and the most annoying): The computer locks up constantly and/or will
simply restart itself. There are no viruses and no spyware (as I have scanned the
drive roughly 8000 times with all my utilities updated). All the Windows updates
have also been installed. I haven't installed anything I didn't use before the new
MOBO either...so I don't THINK it's a software issue.

Any ideas?
