Okay, i had to reboot my windows 98 and for my monitor it detected it and gave it the Plug and Play status, and then my graphics driver that was currently installed by itself (during rebooting) was only allowing me to have one screen size to choose from, and 2 or 16 colors to choose form, so i downloaded a trident driver and now whenever i get it installed and i have changed the settings to 16bit or 256, it gives the message for me to restart so when i restart i keep getting a message that says: There is a problem with your display settings. The adapter type is incorrect or the current settings do not work with you hardware. I am at a total loss as what to do. I have tried to change the 16-bit color, but have no other options to change to.
