USB port doesn't work with 2 drivers

My USB port isn't working and I look at the Device Manager to discover two Universal Serial Bus controllers. I am under the impression that only one is needed but which one do I Remove? Listed are Intel 823715B PCI to USB Universal Host Controller and USB Root Hub. Is there is another solution?
