Change or add software recently? Most culprits are a) email checking for new mail on a schedule, b)auto backups in Ms Word, or other programs, c)scheduled events. d) Hardware conficts & defective hardware, e)viruses and spywares that will attempt to access the internet frequently and may cause hanging. We really need more info to offer a actual solution. ie new software, upgrades, hardware etc.
