I am not able to see other computers on the network and I cannot get onto the internet
through my router. The Linksys router recognizes that it is there but fails to browse
the other computers or the net. The other computers are winxp. I eventually opened
up the router and manually typed all the info into the network tcp/ip connections
manually. This time it hung up searching for proxy settings and then sits and finally
tells me this error, " page cannot be displayed. Server or dns error." I triple checked
all the numbers and cannot find out why the computer will not connect. It is win98se
by the way.
