There's no need to bother with repairing Windows95. Just boot the Win98 floppy disk
that came with the Win98 CD & install W98 now. When it can't find Win.Com, swap
CD's with Win95 to let it look at the prerequisite. If scandisk is failing, however,
you have no choice about attempting to reformat to wipe out the problem so scandisk
will run, and replacing the Hdd if it won't reformat.
You may want to use a Knoppix (Linux) CD to copy the Panasonic's drivers off onto
floppies or another blank CD.
