I had exactly the same problem and almost on the same day! Both my mouse and keyboard
stopped functioning at the same time. Shutting off manually (the only option, since
both the keyboard and mouse are off), unplugging and replugging the devices, then
booting up again seems to be the only remedy. But it's only temporary. The devices
work for a while, then shut off again. I run NAV 2006, so it might be a virus, but
I'd be surprised. I'm thinking it's time to invest in a new computer again. Heck,
this one's 10 years old...
Have you found a solution to your problem?
