Not sure what you may've done, but you could first try to repair your IE - click
Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Microsoft IE Program and Internet
Tools, click Add/Remove, select Repair Internet Explorer.
Another option would be to restart your computer in Safe Mode, select the Command
Prompt Only option, type in scanreg /restore after the C: prompt [with a space between
scanreg and the slash], choose the most recent 'Started' registry backup dated prior
to when you first experienced the problem, let the Registry Checker restore it, then
restart.
Alternatively, go through the same procedure as above, but instead type in scanreg
/fix, that's if scanreg /restore doesn't fix it.
If none of those work, head over to www.dll-files.com and download the version of
the msxml3a.dll file you need. Likely it will go into your Windows>System folder,
unless instructions to the contrary are included with the file.
It's not inconceivable that some form of spyware or malware may've affected your
IE, so update and run two or three anti-spyware programs [not any one of them will
pick up everything] and your anti-virus to clean out your system. Also update patches
and fixes through Microsoft Windows Update.
Without really knowing exactly what caused your problem or how, that's basically
what I would do to start off with. Then it can be determined if it's anything more
serious than that or not.
