Try Drive E:\
or
Place the Win98 Boot Floppy into another computer. Find the Autoexec.bat file within
the Win98 Boot Floppy. Right click on the Autoexec.bat, then choose EDIT scroll
down and find
LH %ramd%:\MSCDEX.EXE /D:mscd001 /L:%CDROM%
next add /L:R at the end of the line
when finished it should look like this:
LH %ramd%:\MSCDEX.EXE /D:mscd001 /L:%CDROM% /L:R
now close out the autoexec.bat and save the change.
During install the Cd-rom Drive Letter will be R:\
use:
R:\Win98\setup
or
R:\Win98\setup.exe
If the HHD is large enough to contain the volume of the Win98 .Cabs and if you would
like to auto install Win98, you can Email me and I will send you a Batch File that
will auto install Win98 for you.
