Hope u solved your problem I can't get started at all now. I decided to reformat
my harddrive but have had loads of problems. In the end I fdisked and reformatted.
Now my machine appears to be completely knackered. I cannot load up 98 at all. I
get as far as formatted complete 14,638.69MB total disk space. Total available 14,638.69MB
All seems ok up to this point. No problems reported. I then reboot with CD support
and insert 98. At the A:\> prompt I type setup. Scandisk hits in automatically. It
reports,Problem Found, 63,961,664 bytes of data on drive C (I have tried two harddrives
and it reports the same for both) that might be one or more lost files or directories
but which is probably just taking up space. I have tried to save and fix, delete, dont
fix, however whichever I do I cannot get to installing 98. It reports drive c had
errors but were fixed. It seems no matter what I try I cannot get to installing 98.
Any ideas other than bin it ?
