There is no MS supported Service Pack, that I'm aware of, for Win98SE. Have you,
by chance, installed one of the Unofficial Service Packs that are out there on the
Net?
If so, you may want to contact the Vendor of the Service Pack for support with this
problem. Or at least Post back with full info on the Service Pack and it's source.
